Self catering holiday cottage in the Elan Valley

Our cottage is actually in the Elan Valley, a short walk to the lowest of the dams and the Visitor Centre. Many sites that say they are near to, or convenient for, the valley could well be up to an hour away.

Rhayader Museum is currently holding an exhibition, entitled “Glimmer in the Earth”. It presents gold Bronze Age and Roman treasures, originally found in this area, on loan from the Welsh National Museum and the British Museum.
