The Welsh Government, recognising the dangerous situation created by the Covid pandemic’s second phase, have closed down the country for a two week period. We are therefore not able to welcome any visitors for the period 24th October to the 10th November. We feel much safer because of this action. Like all other places of beauty and interest in the UK the Elan Valley has been inundated with visitors through the summer months. We hope a fortnight “circuit breaker” will have the desired effect, but fear that the English situation will be so bad after this fortnight that the Welsh Government may have to take further precautionary steps. Keep well, and wherever possible take your own steps to ensure your safety.
